The Sri Sathya Sai Global Council
The Sri Sathya Sai Global Council (SSSGC) was created in the latter part of 2021 to Unify, Coordinate, and Supervise all the Sai organizations around the world. The prime objective of the SSSGC is to strengthen, and expand “Sri Sathya Sai Organizations“ globally and firmly establish their connection to the sacred Abode of Peace, Prasanthi Nilayam. All Sathya Sai organizations will work in unison to reach the Divine Mission of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The SSSGC unifies and coordinates by zoning the globe with Nine Zones, and Sri Lanka belongs to the Zone 4 – South East Asia, which includes Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos PDR, Bhutan, Bangladesh (Service only), Maldives (Service only). Each Zone is empowered to work freely with the guidance of a zonal Chairman. The Maldives too comes under the purview of Sri Lanka.
The Sri Sathya Sai Overseas Organization
The Sri Sathya Sai Overseas Organization (SSSOO) in Sri Lanka works in concordance with the policies and guidelines of the Global Council, and with the guidance of the Zonal Chairman. The organization was established in August 2021.
The fundamental structure of our organization
The composition of the organization: The Global Council has appointed the Central Coordinator, Deputy Central Coordinator, and the President of the National Council.
The country is divided into five zones: North, East, Central, Southern, and Western zones for providing greater freedom in planning and implementing zonal activities. Each zone has an undefined number of “Samithis” or smaller units registered with the national organization, SSSOO. The national organization and the zones implement activities through five wings: Education, Service, Spiritual, Youth, and Mahila wings. The five wings work earnestly to
