The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Overseas Organization (SSSOO) in Sri Lanka, amidst many contemporary obstacles, planned to serve the needy in all parts of the island. The objective of this program is to implement a major component of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Mission, serving the needy (Narayana Seva). Our plan began with distributing lunch parcels to the poor in and around Colombo, but with Swami’s Grace, foreign donors started to send a sizeable amount of funds to be used in distributing dry ration parcels to the elected poor families. We gratefully appreciate the generous help given by India, Nepal, Singapore, Myanmar, UK, USA, and Australia. The Narayana Seva project is continuing. The current seva includes the purchase and repacking of 07 Kg rice, 01 Kg of dhal, sugar, flour and distributing it among 2580 selected families in all parts of the country.
