නව වසර උදාවන මේ වකවානුවේදී අප විසින් වගා කර ගත යුතු ගුණධර්ම මොනවාද යන්න භගවාන් සමිඳුන් විස්තර කරන්නේ කරුණාව පෙරදැරි කර ගෙනය.
ජනයා නව වසර ගැන කථා කළද නව වසරේ ඔවුන් විසින් වගා කර ගත යුතු නව හැඟීම් හා ආකල්ප මොනවාද යන්න ගැන එතරම් තැකීමක් නොකරයි. ඔවුන් නව හැඟීම් හා නව උද්යෝගයන් වඩවා ගත යුතු වේ. සැම විටම මානසික කඩා වැටීමෙන් ජීවත් නොවී යහපත් ජීවිතයක සතුට ලඟා කර ගන්න. එවන් ජීවිතයක් ඔබ අභ්යන්තරයේ පවත්නා දිව්යත්වය ප්රදර්ශනය කරයි. සංතුෂ්ටිය දෙවියන් හා සංයෝග වීමෙන්ම ප්රදානය වේ. දෙවියන් සදාතනික ආනන්දයයි. ඔබගේ පාපී ලක්ෂණ වලින් බැහැරව හදවත දිව්යමය ප්රේමයෙන් පුරවා ලන්න. මම ඔබගේ දුක් ඉවත් කර සතුට ප්රදානය කිරීමට සැම විටම කැප වෙමි. ඒ සඳහා ඔබ සුදානම්ද? ඔබගේ මව, පියා හෝ හාම්පුතා හෝ වේවා ඒ කිසිවකුට ඔබ දෙවියන් හට පුද කරන දිව්යමය කාර්යයන් අතරට පැමිණීමට ඉඩ නොදෙන්න. මෙයයි ප්රලාද, භාරත, හා බාලි අධිරාජ්යයා කියා දුන් පාඩම. දෙවියන් හා අනුගත වීම, පක්ෂපාතී බව අනෙක් සියලු වගකීම් ඉක්මවා යයි. දෙවියන් හට යටත් වී ජන සමාජයට යහපත සලසන්න. ඔබට මාගේ ආශිර්වාදය ප්රදානය වේවි.

ඔබ සිත යොමු කළ යුත්තේ නව වසරක් කෙරෙහි නොව නව ජීවන රටාවක් කෙරෙහිය. එතුළින් නව ජිවිතයට ලැබෙන නව සංතුෂ්ටි ප්රභවයක් සාක්ෂාත් කර ගන්න. ස්වාමි.
On the occasion of New Year, what is it that we must develop? Bhagawan endearingly explains and confers His blessings.
People talk about the new year but do not care to develop new feelings and new attitudes.
They must develop new ideas and new enthusiasm. If they are all the time depressed, when will they learn to express the joy of good living? They must exude happiness. That is the mark of the Divine within. Happiness is union with God. God is eternal bliss. Get rid of your evil tendencies and fill your hearts with love of God. You will become one with God. I am ready to give you all happiness. Are you prepared to receive what I wish to offer? Banish all worries. They are temporary like passing clouds. Do not allow anyone – whether it is the father, the mother or the preceptor – to come between you and your duty to God. This is the lesson taught by Prahlada, Bharata, and Emperor Bali. Their allegiance to the Lord transcended all other obligations. God takes care of such devotees. Surrender yourselves to God and dedicate yourselves to the service of mankind. You have My blessings. Foster love and serve society.

மக்கள் புத்தாண்டைப் பற்றிப் பேசுகிறார்கள், ஆனால் புதிய உணர்வுகளையும், அணுகுமுறைகளையும் வளர்ப்பதில் அக்கறை காட்டுவதில்லை. அவர்கள் புதிய சிந்தனைகளையும் புதிய உற்சாகத்தையும் வளர்த்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். அவர்கள் எப்போதும் மனச்சோர்வுடனேயே இருந்தால், நல்வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதன் மகிழ்ச்சியை வெளிப்படுத்த எப்போது கற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள்? அவர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியை வெளிப்படுத்துபவர்களாக விளங்க வேண்டும். அதுவே தெய்வம் உள்ளுறைந்து இருப்பதற்கான அடையாளம். Happiness is union with God – ஆனந்தம் என்பது இறைவனுடன் ஐக்கியமாவதில் தான் இருக்கிறது. இறைவன் நித்யானந்த ஸ்வரூபன். உங்கள் தீய இயல்புகளை அகற்றி, தெய்வத்தின் மீதான ப்ரேமையால் உங்கள் இதயங்களை நிறைத்திடுங்கள். நீங்கள் இறைவனுடன் ஒன்றாகி விடுவீர்கள். உங்களுக்கு எல்லா சந்தோஷத்தையும் அருள்வதற்கு நான் தயார்; ஆனால் நான் வழங்க விரும்புவதைப் பெற நீங்கள் தயாராக இருக்கிறீர்களா? கவலைகள் அனைத்தையும் விட்டுவிடுங்கள். அவை கலைந்து செல்லும் மேகங்களைப் போன்று தாற்காலிகமானவையே. இறைவனுக்கு நீங்கள் ஆற்ற வேண்டிய கடமைக்கும் உங்களுக்கும் இடையில், தந்தையோ, தாயோ, ஆசானோ யாரையும் அனுமதிக்காதீர்கள். பிரஹலாதன், பரதன், பலிச்சக்கரவர்த்தி ஆகியோர் புகட்டிய பாடம் இதுதான். இறைவன் மீதான அவர்களின் விசுவாசம் மற்ற எல்லா உறவுகளுக்கும் அப்பாற்பட்டதாக இருந்தது. அத்தகைய பக்தர்களை இறைவன் ரட்சித்துக் காக்கிறான். இறைவனிடம் சரணடையுங்கள், மானிட சேவைக்கு உங்களை அர்ப்பணித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். உங்களுக்கு என் ஆசிகள் உண்டு. ப்ரேமையை வளர்த்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள், சமுதாயத்திற்கு சேவை செய்யுங்கள்.
