දිව්යමය මාතාවන් තිදෙනාගේ කාර්ය භාරය අපගේ දෛනික දිවි පෙවෙතට සම්බන්ධ වන්නේ කෙසේ ද යන්න මේ උතුම් නවරාත්රි දින භගවාන් සමිඳුන් අපට ඉතා හොඳින් පැහැදළි කර දේ.
යහපත් ගති පැවතුම් ඔබගේ ජිවිතය තුළ වගා කර ගන්න. එවිට සියල්ල යහපත් අතට හැරෙනවා පමණක් නොව බාධක කම්කටොලු පහව යයි. දසාර උත්සව සමයේ දුර්ගා, ලක්ෂ්මි, සරස්වතී යන දිවය මාතාවන් අප වන්දනා කරන්නේ අපගේ යහපත් සිතිවිලි ක්රියාවන් බවට පරිවර්තනය කර ගැනීමේ අරමුණින් වේ. දුර්ගා මෑණියන් රෞද්ර දෙවියකු ලෙස වටහා නොගන්න. දුර්ගා යනු ඔබව ආරක්ෂා කරන දෙවි කෙනෙකි. ලක්ෂ්මි දේවිය ධනය සමගත් සරස්වතී දේවිය සන්නිවේදනය සමගත් බැඳේ. යහපත් සිතිවිලි, වචන, ක්රියා හා චර්යාවන් මේ දිව්යත්ව ත්රිත්වය නිරූපනය කරයි. ඔබට යහපත් දේ උගන්වන ගුරුවරයා සරස්වතී දේවියගේ ප්රතිමුර්තිය වේ. අයපත් දේ උගන්වන්නා අමනුෂ්යයෙකි. දුර්ගා දේවිය විනාශ කරන්නේ එවන් අමනුෂ්යයන් පමණි. ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම විමසා බැලුවහොත් දුර්ගා, ලක්ෂ්මී හා සරස්වතී ඔබගෙන් වෙනස් නොවේ. එම දිව්ය ත්රිත්වය ඔබගේ හදවත තුළ ස්ථාපනය වී ඔබව යහපත් මිනිසකු වීමට මග පෙන්වති.

It is only to enable you to put good thoughts into practice that goddesses Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati are worshipped during the Dasara celebrations. Durga is not to be understood as a ferocious goddess. She is the Goddess Supreme who protects you. Lakshmi is the embodiment of all wealth. Saraswati is the goddess of speech. Good thoughts, good words, and good actions and behaviour represent the nature of these three goddesses. He who teaches good things to you is verily the embodiment of Goddess Saraswati. He who teaches evil is verily a demon. Goddess Durga destroys only such demons. Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati are, in fact, not different from you. They are very much installed in your own heart. They exhort you to lead the life of a human being, since you are a human being.

நன்னடத்தையை வளர்த்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். அனைத்தும் உங்களுக்கு நல்லவையாகவே நடக்கும். எதுவும் உங்களை பாதிக்காது. எதுவும் உங்களைக் கஷ்டப்படுத்தாது. இத்தகைய சத்திய வாக்குகளை போதிப்பதற்காகவும் உங்களைக் கடைப்பிடிக்கச் செய்வதற்காகவும், தசரா பண்டிகையின் போது துர்கா, லட்சுமி, சரஸ்வதி ஆகிய தேவியர் ஆராதிக்கப்படுகின்றனர். துர்கா என்றால் ஏதோ பயங்கரமான சண்டிதேவி அல்ல; ரக்ஷிக்கும் மஹா தேவதையாவாள். லட்சுமியே அனைத்து செல்வங்களுக்கான தேவி. சரஸ்வதி வாக்கிற்கு தேவியாவாள். நற்சிந்தனைகள், நல்ல வார்த்தைகள், நன்னடத்தை ஆகியவற்றையே இந்த மூன்று தேவியரும் குறிக்கின்றனர். யார் உங்களுக்கு நல்லவற்றை போதிக்கிறாரோ அவரே சரஸ்வதி தேவியாவார். உங்களுக்குத் தீயவற்றை போதிப்பவர் அசுரரே. துர்கா தேவி இப்படிப்பட்ட அசுரர்களையே வதம் செய்கிறாள். துர்கா, லட்சுமி, சரஸ்வதி ஆகியோர் வெவ்வேறானவரல்லர். அனைவரும் ஒரே இதயத்தில் உறைபவர்களே. அந்த மூவரும் மனிதன் மனிதனாக நடந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றே போதிக்கின்றனர்.
