සත්ය සායි බැතිමතුන් ලෙසට, සමාජය තුළ, අද අපගේ කාර්යභාරය කෙසේ වුවක්ද යන්න, භගවාන් සමිඳුන් ප්රේමනීයව හා පැහැදිලි ලෙසින්, අද අපට පහදා දෙනු ලබයි.
වත්මන් ලොව, එකිනෙකාට විරුද්ධවාදීව, කණ්ඩායම් වලට බෙදී, වෛරී සහගතව ඔවුනොවුන් මරා ගනිති, කපා කොටා ගනිති. යමෙකුගේ ඉලක්කය සතුරෙකු විනාශ කර ලීම වේ නම්, ඉතා කෘර පිළිවෙතක් පිළිබඳව සැලකිළිමත් විය යුතු නොවේ. පෘතුවියෙහි වසන කිසිදු ජීවියෙකු, තම සහජ එක්සත් භාවයත්, නිරතුරුව ගලා යන දිව්යත්වයත් පිළිබඳව අවධියෙන් නොසිටී. ඒ සියල්ල උනුනට අහිමි වී නොමැති බව සනාථ කර පෙන්වීමේ කාර්යභාරය දැන් ඔබ සතුව ඇත. සත්ය, දැහැමි බව, සාමය හා ප්රේමය, කෙරෙහි විශ්වාසයෙන් කටයුතු කරන්නන් දැනුදු සිටිත්. මිනිසා සතුටු කිරීමට සිදු කරනු ලබන ප්රේමනීය වූ සේවාවන් තුළින්, ලැබෙනුයේ නිහතමානීත්වයත්, අධ්යාත්මික ගුණාංගයන් හෙබි ගෞරවාදරයක් මෙන්ම, මිනිසාගේ සහෝදරත්වයත්, දෙවියන්ගේ පිතෘත්වයත් ගෙන දෙන, දීප්තිමත් වුද, අලංකාරමත් වුද, දිනයක් ලඟා වන බවකි. වත්මනෙහි වඩාත් උනන්දුවක් දක්වන්නේ වඩ වඩාත් ආහාර නිෂ්පාදනයටත්, නිවාස ඉඳි කිරීමටත්, ඇඳුම් පැළඳුම් නිෂ්පාදනයටත් ය. එනමුදු ඒ හා සමගම අද ඉතාමත්ම අවශ්යව ඇති දෙය වන්නේ කුමක්ද යත්, මිනිස් වර්ගයාගේ හද සන්තානය තුළ ගැබ්ව ඇති, හොඳ ඉවසීමත්, නිහතමානීත්වයත්, සහෝදරත්වයත්, දයාව කරුණා ගුණයත්, ප්රීතිය හා සාමයේ උල්පත පිළිබඳව දැනුවත්ව සිටීමයි. භාරතය නම් වූ මෙම රට, මෙවන් වූ අධ්යාත්මික දුෂ්කර මෙහෙයන්හි නිමග්නව සිටිය යුතු වේ. ඉතා තද සිත් මෘදු කළ හැකි ද්රාවනය ප්රේමය වන්නේය.

As devotees of Swami, what is our role in society today? Bhagawan lovingly and clearly explains to us today.
The world today is torn into factions and groups that hate and hack each other. No method is considered too cruel if the aim is to destroy one’s enemy. No one is aware of the innate Unity, the ever-present current of Divinity that animates every single living being on earth. You have the role now of demonstrating that all is not lost, that there are still people who believe in Truth, Righteousness, Peace and Love, that acts of loving service rendered in a spirit of humility and reverence are still making people happy, and that the day when the brotherhood of man and the Fatherhood of God will shine bright and beautiful is drawing and dawning near. All efforts are now being concentrated on the production of more food, the building of more houses and the manufacture of more cloth. But what is most needed today is a total effort to make man manifest more tolerance, more humility, more brotherliness, more compassion and deeper awareness of the springs of joy and peace that lie within the heart of each one. This country, Bharath, must be in the forefront of this spiritual adventure. Love is the solvent for the hardest of hearts.

இன்று உலகம் ஒருவரையொருவர் வெறுத்து, வெட்டி வீழ்த்திக் கொள்ளும் கோஷ்டிகளாகவும் அணிகளாகவும் சிதறி சின்னாபின்னமாக உள்ளது. ஒருவரின் எதிரியை அழிப்பதே நோக்கமாக இருந்தால், எந்த முறையும் மிகக் கொடூரமானது எனக் கருதப்படுவதில்லை. உள்ளார்ந்த ஒற்றுமையையும், பூமியின் ஒவ்வொரு உயிரினத்தை உயிர்ப்பிக்கும் தெய்வத்தின் ஆற்றலையும் யாரும் அறிந்திருக்கவில்லை. சத்தியம், தர்மம், சாந்தி, ப்ரேமை ஆகியவற்றில் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள் இன்னும் இருக்கிறார்கள்; பணிவோடும் பயபக்தியோடும் செய்யப்படும் சேவைப்பணிகள் இன்னும் மக்களை மகிழ்ச்சியடையச் செய்கின்றன; ‘மாந்தரனைவரும் சகோதரர்கள், இறைவனே மனிதகுலத்தின் தந்தை’ என்ற கோட்பாடு அழகாக மலர்ந்து ஒளியுடன் பிரகாசிக்கும் நாள் நெருங்கி வந்துகொண்டு இருக்கிறது; நிலைமை இன்னும் மோசமாகிவிடவில்லை என்பதையெல்லாம் நிரூபிக்கும் பொறுப்பு உங்களுக்கு இப்போது உள்ளது. இன்று உணவு, உறைவிடம், உடை ஆகியவற்றை அதிகமாக உற்பத்தி செய்வதற்கே எல்லா முயற்சிகளும் மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன. ஆனால் மனிதனிடம் அதிகமான சகிப்புத்தன்மை, பணிவு, சகோதரத்துவம், இரக்கம், ஒவ்வொருவரின் இதயத்திலும் இருக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சி மற்றும் அமைதியின் ஊற்றுகளைப் பற்றிய ஆழமான விழிப்புணர்வு ஆகியவற்றை வெளிப்படுத்துவதில் முழுமையான முயற்சி மேற்கொள்வதே இன்று மிக அவசியமானதாகும். இந்த ஆன்மிக சாகசத்தில் பாரத தேசம் முன்னிலை வகிக்க வேண்டும். ப்ரேமையே கடினமான இதயங்களையும் கரைக்க வல்லதாகும்.
