New South Wales, Australia’s most populous state, was bracing for more heavy rains and possible floods as the tally of weather warnings rose to 64 with heavy risks of flash flooding, landslips, and fallen trees,
Over 3 tonnes of emergency food items for remote Aboriginal Communities in NSW was distributed by Members of Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, Australia.
The recent flooding in New South Wales has severly impacted the society at large and more particularly remote Aboriginal communities in Warren, Walgett, Brewarrina, Weilmoringle and Collarenebri.
With Swami’s Grace and continued generiousity of members, approximately 3 tonnes of non perishable food items which was packed in 270 food packs was earlier today hand delivered by volunteers NSW Aboriginal Land Council Western Zone office in Dubbo.
These food packs will now be provided to 5 remote Aboriginal communities in Warren, Walgett, Brewarrina, Weilmoringle and Collarenebri received affected by the recent floods in New South Wales (NSW).
