Dry rations distributed in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
The northern region coordinating committee of Sri Sathya Sai Overseas Organisation in Sri Lanka distributed dry rations to 100 needy families in Kayts, Jaffna.
Each dry ration bag consisted of 10 kg. of rice, 2 kg of flour, 2 kg of sugar, 1 kg of Dhal, 100 g of chili powder and1 packet of salt.
The cost of each dry ration bag was around Rs, 3,500.00.
In addition another 35 families received 5 kg bags of rice only
