අධ්යාත්ම මාවතේ ගමන් කරන විට ඔබ වෙත ලැබෙන ප්රශංසා හා අපහාස මෙන්ම විවේචන වල නියැලෙන පුද්ගලයන් පිලිබඳ දැරිය යුතු ආකල්ප මොනවාදැයි භගවාන් සමිඳුන් මෙසේ පැහැදිළි කර දෙති.
අධ්යාත්මික වශයෙන් උසස් අය පමණක් නොව දිව්ය අගමනයන්හට පවා විවේචන හා අපහාස වලින් මිදීමට නොහැක.එනමුත් ඔවුහු සසල නොවෙති, සත්යයම පදනම් කර ගෙන ජීවත් වෙති, බියගැන්වීම්වලට යටත් නොවෙති. විවේචන වල නියැලෙන පුද්ගලයන් මේ උතුමන්ගේ උසස් බව වටහා ගන්නේ ඔවුන් යම් අපදාවන්ට ලක් වූ විටය. එවිට උතුම් පුද්ගලයන් වෙත එල්ල කරන ඔවුන්ගේ අපහාස ප්රශංසා බවට පත් වේ. මේ සියල්ල සිදුවන්නේ අපහාස හා විවේචන වල නියැලෙන පුද්ගලයන් තුළ පවත්නා මෝහය නිසාම වේ. එනිසා සාධකයන් කළ යුත්තේ එවන් පුද්ගලන්ගෙන් දුරස් වීම හා ඔවුන්ගේ විශ්වාසයන් හා ඇදහීම් ගැන අදහස් හුවමාරු වලින් බැහැර වීමයි. සාධකයා නොවරදවාම අධ්යාත්මික ග්රන්ථ පරිහරණය කළ යුතුවාක් මෙන්ම දෙවියන්ගේ සත්ය බැතිමතුන් සමග කෙරෙන ඇසුර ප්රිය කළ යුතු වේ. උසස් අධ්යාත්ම මට්ටමකට ලඟා වූ සාධකයාට පසු කලෙක අනෙකුත් සාධකයනට උපදෙස් දෙමින් ඔවුනගේ දියුණුව සැලසිය හැකි වන්නේය.

අප අයහපත් සිතිවිලි හා ඊර්ෂ්යාව මත පදනම් වෙමින් සිදු කරන විවේචන හා අපහාස නොසලකා හැරිය යුතු වේ. අප සත්යය තුළ දිවි ගෙවමින් උපේක්ෂාව රැකිය යුතු වේ. ස්වාමි.
How should spiritual aspirants treat praise and blame, and those that indulge in criticism? Bhagawan lovingly reminds us today.
No one, not even a great spiritual personality (maha-purusha) or Avatar, can ever escape criticism and blame. But such people do not bend. They hold on to truth. Truth will not yield to threats. The real nature of the great sage or Avatar is realised by those who indulge in criticism or blame, only after they wade through unbearable trouble; then they also start to praise! The weakness of ignorance is the cause of this failure. So, let aspirants keep away from all such waverers and ignorant people and desist from discussing their beliefs and convictions with them. Let them become immersed in holy books and be in the company of devotees of the Lord. Later, rich with the experience of realisation and courageous on account of that contact with reality, they can mix in any company without danger and even endeavour to direct other minds onto the truth that they themselves have seen.

எப்படிப்பட்ட மஹாத்மாவாகட்டும் அவதார புருஷராகட்டும், அவதூறு விமர்சனங்களில் இருந்து தப்ப முடியாது. என்ன காரணம்? சத்தியம் எதற்கும் பணியாது. சத்தியம் தெரியாத வரைக்கும் தான் அகங்காரம் ஆக்ரோஷமாகி இத்தகைய ஆட்டங்களுக்கு இடம் கொடுப்பார்கள். அவற்றிலிருந்து தாங்கமுடியாத துன்பத்தை அனுபவித்த பிறகு, சத்தியத்தை அறிவதற்கு முயற்சித்து, படிப்படியாகப் போற்றிப் புகழ்வதற்கு ஆரம்பிப்பார்கள். இதற்கு விவேகமில்லா பலவீனமே காரணமாகும். அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களின் சிந்தனைகளுக்கு இடமளிக்காமல், அவர்களோடு வாதத்தில் ஈடுபடாமல், அவர்களிடமிருந்து தூர விலகி, அவர்களின் தொடர்பையே முற்றிலுமாக விடுத்து, உன் மனதில் பரமாத்மாவின் மீது பரிபூர்ண ஆனந்தம் கிட்டும் வரை, அதற்குத் துணைபுரியும் பக்தர்களுடன் கூடியிருக்க வேண்டும். புனித நூல்களைப் பாராயணம் செய்ய வேண்டும். அதன் மூலமாக, படிப்படியாக உன் ஆனந்தம், தைரியம் அதிகரித்து, அனுபவம் கைகூடும். அனுபவித்த பிறகு, எப்படிப்பட்டவருடன் சேர்ந்தாலும் யதார்த்தத்தைக் கைவிடாமல், மற்றவர்களின் கைகளுக்கு சிக்காமல், மூடர்களுக்கும் இறைவனைப் பற்றித் தெரியாதவர்களுக்கும் சத்தியத்தை வெளிப்படுத்த முயற்சிக்க வேண்டும்.
