With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Narayana Seva activity has been launched this morning as a Universal Celebration of Bhagawan’s Birth Centenary proceedings.
After the launch of a brochure titled ‘Feeding the Hungry – A Divine Act’ by Sri K Chakravarthi (Chairman, SSSGC), Sri RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee, SSSCT), Dr V Mohan (Trustee, SSSCT) and Sri Nimish Pandya (AIP, SSSSO-India), AIP addressed the gathering on the scope of this project as envisioned by Bhagawan.
As quoted by Swami in His discourse delivered on Jan 28, 1975 – “The gift of food is the noblest of all gifts. And the best type of seva is feeding the hungry.”, the members of SSSSO have pledged to feed the poor at a community level.
The devotees then participated in the Sri Sathya Sai Laksharchana puja, chanting the Sri Sathya Sai Ashtottara Shatanamavali.
