අප දෙවියන් සමග නිවැරදි සම්බන්ධතාවක් ගොඩ නගා ගත යුත්තේ ඇයිද යන්න භගවාන් සමිඳුන් පැහැදිළි කරති. මේ සදාතනික සම්බන්ධතාව සඳහා තිබිය යුතු මූලික ගුණාංග කවරේද යන්නත් උන්වහන්සේ ගෙන හැර දක්වති.
මිනිසා දෙවියන් සමග නිවැරදි සම්බන්ධතාවක් ගොඩ නගා ගත යුතු වේ. මේ සම්බන්ධතාව නාමස්මරණය, දෙවියන් අරමුණු කරමින් සිදු කරන භාවනාව වචන වලට හා යාන්ත්රික බවට සීමා නොවිය යුතු අතර එම සාධනාවන් හදවතින් ජනනය විය යුතු වේ. රාවණා ශිව දෙවිඳුන් විධිමත් ලෙස වන්දනා කළද ඒ වන්දනාව හා භක්තිය හදවතින් පැන නැගුන සංකල්ප නොවීය. එනිසාම රාවණා රාක්ෂ ගුණාංගයන්ගෙන් නිදහස් නොවීය. වර්තමානයේද හදවතින් ජනනය නොවන භක්තිය නොමැතිව නාම සජ්ජායනයේ යෙදෙන්නන් රාවණා පරපුරට අයත් බැව් කිව හැක. අප දෙවියන්හට යාඥා කළ යුත්තේ නොවටිනා භෞතික දේ පතමින් නොව තමන් තුළම විභව වන උතුම් දිව්යත්වය අවදි කර ගැනීම සඳහාය. සාධකයන් උත්සාහ ගත යුත්තේ බාහිර අනියත අරමුණු කෙරෙහි ඇති ආශාවන් ඉවත දමා තම මනස හා හදවත දිව්යත්වය තුළ කිඳා බැසීම එකම අරමුණ කර ගැනීමටය.

සාධකයින් කිසි විටෙක දෙවියන් කෙරෙහි ඇති කර ගත් විශ්වාසය හා භක්තිය දුර්වල නොකරගත යුතු වේ. දෙවියන් කෙරෙහි ඇති ප්රබල විශ්වාසය සැම බාධකයක්ම මැඩලීමට සමත් වේ. ස්වාමි.
Why is it important to establish the right relationship with God? Bhagawan benevolently reminds us about the fundamentals of our eternal relationship with Him.
People should establish the right relationship with God. This means that spiritual exercises like chanting the Lord’s names or meditation on God should not be verbal or mechanical but should come from the heart. Ravana was a worshipper of Shiva. But it was formal. His heart was not in it. So, he remained a rakshasa (demon). Today those who chant the Lord’s name without their heart in it must be said to belong to the Ravana breed. People must pray to God with love for God and not for petty favours or material benefits! People must seek the Divine internally, not in external objects. Devotees should strive for transformation in their hearts and minds such that they totally give up their attachment to worldly objects and get immersed in God. God values your feelings and not your physical performances. Make the Lord’s name the goad for controlling the mind which tends to behave like an elephant in rut.

மக்கள் இறைவனுடன் சரியான உறவை ஏற்படுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். அதாவது, இறைநாமஸ்மரணை அல்லது இறைவனை தியானிப்பது போன்ற ஆன்மிக சாதனைகள் உதட்டளவிலோ இயந்திரத்தனமாகவோ இல்லாமல் இதயத்திலிருந்து வெளிப்பட வேண்டும். இராவணன் ஒரு சிவபக்தன். ஆனால் அவனுடைய வழிபாடு வெற்று சடங்காகத் தான் இருந்ததே தவிர மனப்பூர்வமாக இல்லை. அதனால் அவன் ராட்சசனாகவே இருக்க நேர்ந்தது. இன்று இறைவனின் திருநாமத்தை இதயபூர்வமாக உச்சரிக்காதவர்கள் இராவண இனத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் என்றே சொல்ல வேண்டும். மக்கள் தெய்வப்ரீதியுடன் இறைவனைப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்ய வேண்டுமேயன்றி, அற்ப உதவிகளுக்காகவோ அல்லது உலகியலான நன்மைகளுக்காகவோ அல்ல! மக்கள் தெய்வத்தை அகத்தில் தேட வேண்டுமே தவிர புற பொருட்களில் அல்ல. பக்தர்கள் உலகப் பொருட்களின் மீதுள்ள பற்றுதலை முற்றிலுமாக விட்டுவிட்டு இறைச்சிந்தனையில் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கும் வகையில் தங்கள் இதயங்களிலும் மனதிலும் நல்மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்த முயற்சிக்க வேண்டும். இறைவன் பாவப்ரியன்; பாஹ்ய பிரியன் அல்ல. உங்கள் உணர்வுகளை விரும்புபவன், உடலால் செய்யும் செயல்களை அல்ல. மதம் பிடித்த யானையைப் போல நடந்து கொள்ளும் மனதைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த இறைவனின் திருநாமத்தை ஓர் அங்குசமாகப் பயன்படுத்துங்கள்.
