Prasanthi Nilayam celebrated Dattatreya Jayanthi with ritualistic worship and vibrant bhajans at the Dattatreya Shrine located in the sylvan environment of Bhagawan’s Parents’ Samadhi.
Many years ago Bhagawan Himself had physically consecrated this sacred shrine.
Lord Dattatreya represents the Divine Trinity of Brahma (Creator), Vishnu (Preserver) and Shiva (Destroyer) in a single enigmatic form. His birth anniversary is observed on the full moon day of the lunar month of Margaseersha every year.
