Ladies’ Day – 2022-Morning Proceedings

As part of the Ladies’ Day Proceedings this morning, the women students and staff from Bhagawan’s University and Schools offered their collective gratitude.

The program commenced with a band procession led by the girls from the Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School and Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus.

After the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, Prof. (Ms) Rajeswari Patel, Former Director, Anantapur Campus, SSSIHL introduced the chief guest of the day, Ms Tejaswini Ananthkumar, an active social worker, Chairman and co-founder of Adamya Chetana Foundation and the Vice-President for the BJP in Karnataka State.

Ms Tejaswini said that she considered herself blessed to be invited to be in the divine precincts this morning, and also elaborated on the importance of women’s empowerment. She recalled the valuable contribution of women scientists towards space research and stressed on the need to ‘Go Green’ with the use of renewable sources of energy.
