පුජණිය ස්ථාන ගොඩ නගනවාට වඩා, වන්දනා ගමන් වල යෙදීමට වඩා වැදගත් වන්නේ කුමක්ද යන්න භගවාන් සමිඳුන් මෙසේ පැහැදිලි කර දෙති.
පුරාණයේ විසු ඍෂි වරු, රජ වරු, සහ තාපසයන් තම වාසස්ථාන හැර දමා වනගතව ඒ නිදහස් බව තුළින් සීමාරහිත ආනන්දයක් භුක්ති වින්දෝය. එම ආනන්දයයේ ප්රභවය අප තුළම විභව වන දිව්යත්වය බව ඔවුහු අනෙක් අයට කියා දුන්හ. තන්හාව හා ද්වේශය නම් පාපයන් දුරු කරන්න, ඒ ගිනි ජාලාවන් නිවා දමන්න, එවිට ඔබගේ සත්ය ස්වභාවයන් වන ශාන්තිය හා සතුට ඔබට දායාද වන බව ඔව්හු ප්රකාශ කළෝය. ඔබගේ සත්ය ස්වරුපය හා ස්වභාවය ඔබ ඉදිරියේ විකාශනය වේවි. ශාන්ත බව මිනිසාගේ ස්වරූපය වන අතර සතුට මිනිසාගේ ස්වභාවය වේ. තමන්ගේ ශාන්තිය හා සතුට ගොඩ නගා ගැනීම පුජනිය ස්ථාන ගොඩ නැගීමට වඩා ඵලදායී වේ. ඔබ උගෙනගත් දේ ප්රායෝගිකව ක්රියාත්මක කිරීම සත්ය වන්දනා ගමනයි. ඔබගේ මනස ද්වේශයෙන් මුදවාලන්න, එය පුජා ජලයෙන් නැහැවීම හා සමාන වේ. හදවත අපිරිසිදු නම් දෙවියන්ගේ නාමය මුවග රැඳවීමේ අර්ථයක් නොමැත.

What is more important than the building of temples and going on pilgrimages? Bhagawan lovingly and clearly articulates for us today.
In past ages, many sages, kings and ascetics left home and dwelt in the solitude of the forests and having earned unlimited bliss themselves, they taught others the source of their bliss, namely, the Divine that is encased in the human. Remove the vices of lust and hatred, and put out the raging flames of anger and greed; then, they said, the innate shantam and soukhyam (tranquillity and happiness), the swarupam and swabhavam (one’s own form and nature) of man, will manifest unhindered! Shantam is the swarupam, soukhyam is the swabhavam of man. Individual reconstruction is much more important than the construction of temples. Multiply virtues, not buildings; practise what you preach, that is the real pilgrimage; cleanse your minds of envy and malice, that is the real bath in holy water. Of what avail is the name of the Lord on the tongue, if the heart within is impure?

பண்டைய காலங்களில், பல முனிவர்கள், மன்னர்கள், துறவிகள் வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியேறி, காட்டிற்குச் சென்று தனிமையை அனுபவித்து, தவம் புரிந்து அளவற்ற பேரானந்தத்தைப் பெற்றனர்; அத்துடன் அந்த பேரானந்தத்திற்கு மனிதனுள் உறையும் தெய்வமே மூலாதாரம் என்பதையும் எல்லோருக்கும் போதித்தனர். காமம், க்ரோதம் எனும் தீய குணங்களை நீக்கி, கொழுந்து விட்டெரியும் கோபம், பேராசை எனும் தீயை அணைத்திடுங்கள்; பின்னர் அகத்தில் உள்ள சாந்தமும், சௌக்கியமும், மனிதனின் ஸ்வரூபமும், ஸ்வபாவமும் தடையின்றி வெளிப்படும் என்றனர். சாந்தமே மனிதனின் ஸ்வரூபம், சௌக்கியமே மனிதனின் ஸ்வபாவம். ஆலயங்களை நிர்மாணிப்பதை விட தனிமனித புனரமைப்பே முக்கியமானதாகும். நற்பண்புகளைப் பெருக்கிக் கொள்ளுங்கள், கட்டிடங்களை அல்ல; நீங்கள் சொல்வதை முதலில் நீங்கள் பின்பற்றுங்கள், அதுவே உண்மையான புனித யாத்திரையாகும். உங்கள் மனதிலிருந்து பொறாமையையும், வன்மத்தையும் நீக்கி விடுங்கள்; இதுவே உண்மையான புண்ணிய நதி ஸ்நானமாகும். உள்ளிருக்கும் இதயம் தூய்மையாக இல்லாமல், நாவால் நாமஸ்மரணை செய்து என்ன பயன்?
